RE: crossroads cruiser.

Thanks for all the great information. I went to a crossroads dealer and looked at a 25rl and a 27rl both are2008. For the 25 they wanted $23,500 and for the 27 they wanted $26,500. Its about $5000 off of MSRP. I'm thinking its a good deal. Thanks all.

crossroads cruiser.

For those of you that have or had owned a cruiser or another crossroads rv, how are they? I'm debating on buying a cruiser 5ver soon. Did you have any problems? How is the fit and finish? Does the insulation do a good job. Are there any options that i should get or don't need? This will be my first fifth wheel. I have a travel trailer, for two years now so i'm still new to the rv seen. Thanks for any and all information.

RE: Chevy 2500HD (gasoline) and t/t towing question please

I have a 04 2500 Dodge Hemi 3.73s and the 5spd auto. I get 7.5mpg with a 5000lb travel trailer. If i would of known we were buying a camper i would of got the 4.10s. The company i work for has 20 or more chey/gmc work trucks with 5.7s and 6.0s. They pull trailers daily and do preety well. Most have 4.10s.

RE: Favorite Campground

This is great, to look up a lot of the koa and the rv resorts you have stayed in. The national parks are beautiful. This makes me want to fulltime before I retire. I had no idea there were so many places to travel to and camp when you get there.

Favorite Campground

What was your favorite campground you have stayed in or the best state you have stayed in? I think it will be cool to see where everybody has been. I'm new to rving and have only stayed in one campground. Some of you have been around, I hope this helps us that are new to staying away from home.

RE: For Nascar fans

My wife and I also love Nascar. We go to Kansas and Texas and camp. Well kind of. At the Kansas track we found a campground 10 miles south of the track we stay at all weekend with fullhook up. At the Texas track I work for a construction company that has a office next to the track so we hook up to the shop with water and electricity. We stayed at the texas track once a had to use the generator and take our own water, but it was a blast. Just got back from Daytona ( didnt take the camper) and getting ready for Texas race (taking camper). Maybe see some of you down there.

RE: B&W Companion Problems and Excellent Support

I'm also looking at getting the B&W for the gooseneck ball and the companion hitches. I was wondering how the companion does as far as ease of use and built quality? There are a lot of farmers where I live that use the turn over ball and swear by it. I also have a Dodge with a hemi, what do you get for mpg? I pull a 25ft Dutchmen and get 7.5mpg.

RE: Pilgrim Int

Hey haulinbass02, where do I find a map of the USA to put on my camper? My wife and I are just getting started in rving and want to show everybody were we have been too. I love this site there are so many knowledgeable people on here, and for the most part get along just fine with each other.

RE: Pilgrim Int

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not dead set on a pilgrim, I was looking for some opinions on the quality and on the company in general. You were all very helpful.

RE: Pilgrim Int

I have a 2004 Dodge 2500 with a hemi and auto. I pull a 24ft dutchmen travel trailer now and get 7.5 mpg. I had the truck before the camper and getting a diesel is out of the picture. I pull about 1000 miles a year. Our son (24yrs old) is adding to the family (grandson) the wife and I and need some more room.

Pilgrim Int

Does anybody have a pilgrim or know of somebody? How do you like it? Is it built to withstand 10 years of ownership. Im leaning towards the cirrus crk-5 or the 1500 series. I could sure use some input or some articles to read on them. Thanks all and be safe.
